Getting started with EXO Create

Homepage tabs

In order to use EXO Create, it is useful to understand the different areas on your dashboard. See below for information on each tab accessible from the homepage.

Drafts

View the live drafts (or quotes) that you have created or are working on for customers. These are based on specific clients and travel dates. They can be saved as templates to use again or updated to allow for changes to travel date or services for your client.

Within the drafts tab are 2 sub-tabs in which you can view:

  • My Drafts. Your own private drafts.
  • All Agency Drafts.  All drafts visible to you within your agency.

Both of these tabs can be filtered by Keyword, Quotation Reference or Destination that is included in the Draft.

Templates

Here you can find all templates within your account. Click one of the template thumbnail images to start a new draft itinerary based on that template.

Within the templates tab are 3 sub-tabs in which you can view:

  • My Private Templates. These are templates that you have created and are private to you. You can use these to create drafts and proceed to bookings, or use as a base to create more templates.
  • All Agency Templates. These are the public templates that have been created by you or your colleagues. Any member of your team can access and use these templates to create drafts or bookings, or even new templates.
  • EXO Recommended Templates. These are itinerary templates that have been created by EXO Travel and are available to customise to save you time. We feature some of our favourite products and inspire you to immerse your clients in our destinations with some of our favourite trips.

All of these tabs can be filtered by keyword or by the Destinations included in the template.

Booked

When a booking is confirmed, it will be displayed under this section. Navigate to this section to review all bookings booked either by yourself, or by your company.

There are 2 sub-tabs within the Booked section:

  • My Bookings. All bookings that you've booked yourself.
  • All Bookings. All bookings booked by your company that you have access to, including your own bookings.

These two tabs can be filtered further by Keyword, Quotation Reference or Destination that is included in the Booking.

Cancelled

If a booking has been cancelled, it will be displayed under this section. These bookings are no longer active.

As with the Booked tab, there are 2 sub-tabs within the Cancelled section:

  • My Cancellations. All cancelled bookings that you originally booked yourself.
  • All Cancellations. All cancelled bookings that were originally booked by your company, and that you have access to, including your own cancelled bookings.

These tabs can be filtered further by Keyword, Quotation Reference or Destination that is included in the Cancelled Booking.

Homepage actions

There are a few quick actions you can take from the homepage in order to get your first EXO Create itinerary up and running.

Build From Scratch

Click the "Build From Scratch" button to start an empty itinerary, in which you can add all services exactly as you require.

After you click Build From Scratch, you will see a simple form in which you can enter the trip name, start date, locations visited (don't worry, you can always change these later) and travellers' details. Then click submit and your itinerary structure will be created. The rest is up to you!

Start an itinerary from a template

Click any of the templates in the Templates tab to start a new itinerary that's based on a template of a complete itinerary. This provides a useful shortcut to get a complete, well-structured itinerary up and running.

Once opened, you can make any changes that you need to.

Continue working on a Draft itinerary

If you or your colleagues already have some drafts itineraries that you've been working on, click into the Drafts tab to pick up exactly where you left off. Everything in EXO Create is saved automatically so you never have to worry about losing your work.
